Part III - Rural aliens

DAY 5

The internetgirl Christine visited me. She didn't tell me she'd bring this strange pet with her.
She said her pet was kind of her navigation to my house. These pets are naturally eager to learn, so the people from her region teach them to guide.

Aside from her pet, I was happy she brought cake, so I didn't have to cook tonight.

I told her about the fire accidents and that I was very grateful for the cake.
Now she's teasing me I can't even bake an egg.

About the women she said that they were probably just rural people from Hogra, a region nearby Bonkalei.
I wondered why no one had detected them earlier from Simcity, but before I could ask Christine told me they live undergrounds, out of sight but closer to the radiation. This would be the perfect place for clans like the Hogra themselves, but as I thought of it, maybe a good spot for an investigation team as well.

After dinner I couldn't find my friend Christine anywhere. When I walked outside I noticed something shiny in the grass...
I couldn't believe she just left me! With... a lamp? Maybe some strange alien habit?

DAY 6

The next morning I was called about a guy who just landed on a planet nearby, a few lightyears away from Bonkalei. This was the nearest space traveler from my base, so they arranged a meeting. He would visit me at noon, and they wanted to make sure I prepared myself well for an intellectual conversation.

As we exchanged experiences and recognition about the imperfections a space travel comes with, I started to turn the chatter to a more serious angle.
I asked him politely about his purpose here and I opted if we could work together. He said he was just stargazing like many others and he wasn't sure if he could help me, but he was very interested in my telescope and offered to go stargazing together sometime.
I couldn't find anything insincere about him, he didn't seem to be a threat.

I tried to make clear I wasn't here for a hobby, even though I loved my telescope more than my mom.
I hesitated, but then told him everything I knew about Bonkalei, the rumours about the Elixir of Life and the Hogra region Christine told me about.

After his leaving, I noticed the lamp again. I thought of Aladdin, and decided to rub the lamp. Well, I can tell you it worked! From now on I would be protected from fires. Was this a gift from Christine?

Part II - Creations

DAY 3

I felt awful when I got up.

Today's meal didn't taste very well either...
Either this planet is doomed, or I am becoming crazy.

I decided to call for help, though I was too embarassed to mention the fire accidents.
A therapist would arrive soon at my place. Also, they said I should check my e-mail regularly.

Since I was feeling quite lonely today, I entered a chatroom. I spoke with a girl who pointed out an article on the internet. There are rumours that the materials found on this planet could be melted into something people call the Elixir of Life, which should give eternal life to whomever drank it in liquid form. I invited the girl to my house, to talk in person about this mysterious question. Maybe she could help me find the right places to dig or something.

DAY 4

 I hadn't quite woken up...

...as I walked to the kitchen area. I thought I saw a local alien! Was it just my imagination or..?

I collapsed to the ground and the alien tried to raise me up...

It was only my therapist who sneaked into my house.
He gave me an exercise: make a ball which represents me.

I wasn't very pleased to be treated like a child, as I was talking to a selfmade ball.

I tried to follow his instructions to express my frustrations on a canvas, but all I could draw were thin lines...

Lastly he showed me a telescope he brought for me. This had nothing to do with my therapy, but I felt this was the first thing that has a healing effect. I even discovered a new constellation that night. I felt on top of the universe!

Welcome to Bonkalei!

Hiya folks! My name is Romar Scherfmes, the chosen scientist to build a city on a recently discovered planet. I'm wearing these blue glasses to protect my eyes from a radiation coming from rocks and materials deep down the soil on this planet.

Funds made this futuristic building in the valley called Bonkalei reality.

I arrived at night and ate a quick meal of hotdogs.
Unfortunately, my cookings skills are not very well. So, this is what it actually looked like:

Since I didn't want to waste my spare food already, I chose to eat them and take some rest.

DAY 2

The next morning the science team called. There is evidence that others too have made plans to build up a settlement near Bonkalei due to the hunt on a very valuable material. They told me I should stay on guard and trust no one unless they checked their ID's in the data.

This place should be deserted, as far as I could see. But at noon, two young ladies welcomed me. I didn't ask how they found me, because I wouldn't want to encourage their suspicion.

As I was told to trust no one, I spied on them while they were talking in my room. Though, it sounded like nothing particular, it seemed they were just chitchatting.
What caught my eye on the other hand are their dresses. Does their tailor only know one pattern for a dress?

I decided to grill some more hotdogs, but oh well...

After I fought the fire, they excused themselves and left me with a plate of black crunchy hotdogs. Yummm!

I felt kind of depressed after burning my home twice already when I just arrived... :O
